Binary Interrogatories in the Chinese Language

One of the features of the Chinese language that I find interesting is the fact that many interrogatories are posed in binary terms: is/not; yes/no.  In English, interrogatories can be posed as binary, but, in Chinese, they usually are.  So, for example, some one will ask ("bu" means not), "Hao? Bu Hao?" (Good? Not good?).  Or: Dui? Bu Dui? (Correct? Not correct?).  Or Zhidao? Bu Zhidao? (Know? Not Know?).
